Cora (Madison) Welch

Cora L. Madison Welch was born in Thomasville, AL to the Lucy D. and

Flavor Madison. She was a graduate of Thomasville High School and a member of Science

of Life Missionary Church over 25 years under Rev. Eddie Dozier.

Cora traded time for eternity on May 25,2020. She was preceded in death by her

grandmother, Ola Rhone, husband, Frank James Welch Sr., brother, Royal Madison, sister

Ruth Madsion, son Rodney Wanye Madison, and daughter, Letanja Welch Woodard.

Cora leaves to cherish four sons, Carey Neal (Lequetia) Welch of Montgomery, AL,

Frederick (Margie) Welch of Norfolk, VA, Demetrius and Frank Welch Jr. of Mobile, AL;

one daughter Resia Welch Salery of Montgomery, AL; four sisters, Ora Lee Calhoun and

Bettye Madison of Thomasville, AL, Marie Weaver of Fulton, AL, and Lucile Madison of

New York, NY; grandchildren; and great grandchildren; a host of nieces & nephews, other

relatives and friends, (three devoted ) Ms. Mary Penn, Ms. Margaret Calhoun, and Ms. Nora Jones
