A Life well lived with a legacy of a lifetime Bro. Eli Bolar, Born October 5, 1936 to the late Eli Curtis Bolar
and Beatrice Hayes Bolar.
Bro Bolar served in the United States Army, where he received numerous awards and certificates. His
Specialty was Sharp Shooter.
During his lifetime, he became employed with Ingalls Shipbuilder where he was a first class painter for
47 years.
Eli accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of Warm Wood Baptist Church under the
leadership of Rev. Goodwin.
Proceeded in Death by one brother, Alexander Bolar and two Sisters Arletta Murray and Cleavie Taylor.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife Josephine Bolar of 60 years. To these union seven
children were born four boys, Royce Bolar, Myron Bolar, Marcus Bolar (Deadra) and Brock Bolar (Sandy).
Three daughters, Sandra Wells (Henry), Kim Bolar (Edward) and Nicole Bolar. 24 grandchildren, 1
devoted granddaughter Taylor Bolar. A Host of nieces, two devoted Ms. Cynthia Taylor and Ms. Deloris
Davis. Two special nieces Josephine Forrest and Grace Washington and other niece Vera Hudson and
Thelma Gallaway. A host of other relatives and Friends.
